Hello, I’m Precious Benson, the founder of ThriveSphere Consulting. Since 2018, I’ve built my career in the health and social care sector, working in roles from support worker and keyworker to team lead, house lead, and now Registered Manager. Having walked the path myself, I truly understand the challenges, pressures, and rewards of frontline and leadership roles in care — because I have lived them.
Before stepping into social care, I studied medicine for over three years at Plovdiv Medical School in Bulgaria. Changing direction was one of the most difficult but ultimately rewarding choices I made, showing me the power of resilience and how transferable skills can lead to fulfilling, meaningful careers ,even without a traditional social care degree.
Along the way, I faced my own experiences with burnout and emotional overwhelm. It took deep reflection and coaching myself through those challenges to get to a healthier, balanced place. That personal journey inspired me to create ThriveSphere Consulting: a safe, empowering space where you, too, can build confidence, develop your career, and move beyond coping to truly thriving.
My mission is to support healthcare and support work professionals at every stage, helping you to feel valued, supported, and able to achieve your goals — at your pace, with your purpose.
Over the years, I have invested in building a well-rounded skill set to serve and support care professionals at every level. I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Residential Children’s Homes, and I am currently advancing my studies with a Level 7 qualification in Strategic Leadership and Management.
My academic background also includes an A Level in Psychology, giving me insight into human behaviour and mental health, as well as a Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification and a Level 2 certificate in Conflict Management. Additionally, I have completed an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and the Care Certificate.
My professional development goes even further with a broad portfolio of young people–focused training, including FGM awareness, autism and ADHD, self-harm, substance misuse, criminal exploitation, and child sexual exploitation. I have also undertaken mandatory trainings like first aid, fire safety, and health and safety, ensuring a safe and professional practice.
This combination of practical experience and robust qualifications means I am well-equipped to guide, mentor, and support you through the challenges you face in the sector — with empathy, up-to-date knowledge, and a real-world understanding of your day-to-day work.
